Breakfast?

So, this was my breakfast today.

 

Okay that's a lie, it's more like two of those plus a slice of cake

Cupcakes

Early this morning I moved my neck the wrong way and now I am in pain. It's better than it was, but I couldn't go to sleep or anything, so I decided to make.. a cake!

But then I didn't want to make a cake. So then I decided to make... cupcakes!

I reached this decision after stumbling upon a recipe online and since I had nothing else to do I set to work.

I should probably say that... It dosen't taste very good.
The cupcake itself has this strange taste, almost like something is missing from it.
My mom said that the aftertaste was good... but I think she was just trying to placate me.


At least I tried it, right? Even if they don't taste very good, I did it on my own with a recipe I found on the internets.

New look

Ahh, so I was looked for some custom templates online (all ugly in my opinon), then looked for a template generator (couldn't find one), so I just decided to change the layout to the "Minima" template and made myself a header in photoshop.

I also changed the post title, text, link, and visited link colors.

I also just realized that I started the last 4 blogs with "so" (including this one even though there's an ahh in front of it). I'll try to stop doing that.

Brushing her teeth

So, I was driving down Mountain View today on my way to school when I looked over at the car next to me, and I see this woman brushing her teeth. So I snapped this quick photo with my phone. Haha, I was like... what in the world.
Yeah.

Also, I hate the look of this blog. I need to change it up. I'll probably do it when I get home tonight.

So... I was bored. I went and made myself at www.faceyourmanga.com. It... really looks nothing like me... but hey.

At least it gave me a reason to do a blog.

Six Flags and the broken phone

So yesterday I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was fun... well, not at first. See, I don't really like roller coasters at all, so while my friends went on Tatsu, I sat at this table by this grill in the nearby restaurant area for almost 3 hours. Thankfully John, the guy grilling all the meat, was nice and we talked for a while about random stuff... like why I came to Six Flags if I don't like roller coasters.. and why I'm a vegetarian.. and why he doesn't like technology.. etc. I also took a nice 40 minute nap.

Then, since I don't like roller coasters, we went on all of the water rides. The one that was the most fun was the log ride, and the one that was the least fun was the Tidal Wave ride.The one that was the most destructive however... was the River Rapids ride. For some stupid reason there is no safe place to place electronics, so my phone got nice and wet.. and then died.

It is now taking a siesta in a container of rice.

I'm doing that because the rice will help suck the moisture out of the phone. So hopefully after 24 hours (ending tonight at 11ish), my phone will be in working condition again. If not...... pray that I get my new phone very soon before I die.

Shaved Ice Tropical Freeze

Today was the Boba Tea House's 1 year anniversary and they were giving away free drinks! Yay!
But while I was there, I noticed a sign saying

Shaved Ice Tropical Freeze
Topped with Fresh

• Mangos
• Bananas
• Strawberries

And then, I saw someone eating one.. and it looked really good.
So later on that day, at around 6:52pm~ish I went and bought one


It is shaved ice, topped with bananas, mangos, and strawberries, and has this... yogurt stuff on the top. It was very very good, but the banana/mango/strawberry combo was kinda funky.
I think the next time I get one, I'm going to ask for just strawberries

Things I Want

So, I have a list of some things that I want in the upcoming future. My "new every two" thing comes up with Verizon soon, so my next phone is going to be... the maroon enV2!

There it is, up there. Yes, that is my future phone. Isn't is lovely? I think is it.....

Also, my iPod is slowly but surely dying on me, and I've been thinking about the Zune 2. I've also been trying out the zune software, and believe me.. its much better than iTunes (as in.. faster, dosen't slow down my computer, etc)
Plus the Zune2 itself is loads better, in my opinion. Gone are the days of going into iTunes to throw together a playlist, remove songs from a playlist.. etc. you can do that directly inside the zune! (like my old Dell DJ). Plus, I love the "Zune Pad" that you can both click, and swipe. Also the screen is really big which is good for videos and podcasts and stuff.

[Update] Okay, so maybe I was a little bit... confused about the playlists thing. Apparently you can't make/edit/rename playlists from inside the Zune, you actually have to use the software. Oh well, software's still better than iTunes.

Halo Bag?

So, I need a new backpack. I was thinking a messenger bag (cause I really hate backpacks...) and I found one that I want.
It's Halo themed, but not so much so that it's obvious. It's $39.99... and if it were available in stores I would totally go out and get it.. but it's only available online (boo).
Oh well. I'm still getting it sooner or later.
(oh hey! tawny! I don't remember what you got me for christmas... but I think you did get me something.. anyways, this can be a birthday present! a very early one ^^ )

Anyways, I really want an iPhone.

I added a blog list.. and that's it.

Cloverfield

So, yesterday I saw Cloverfield with my friend Nik. It was pretty much awesome. I was surprised that it didn't give me a headache though..
It also wasn't all that scary, although I did freak out a bit at some parts, over all I liked it.

What was sad though was, we only had about $15 dollars, and the movie cost $16.. so I said to Nik, "the nearest ATM is over on Orange St. wanna go?". So we walk all the way to WaMu to get some money. Then on the way out of the theatre after seeing the movie, I spot an ATM inside Krikorian... yeah.

So I've been thinking, what would I do if the Cloverfield events happened in Los Angeles?
Well, before the monster even made it over to my area, I would gather up a bunch of stuff; water, food, crowbars, metal bars, anything heavy really to defend from the mini-monsters, my cell phone, camera (to make some youtube videos of course), DS, iPod, and chargers for all of these things. Throw them all into the back of my car (after cleaning it) and drive away. I might pick up some friends... those who don't have cars... and call the rest of my friends and plan to meet up somewhere.
I don't really know where we would go.. maybe stay somewhere local until we hear that the monster is moving down to our area... then head south for San Diego? Or to the nearest military base so they can chopper us somewhere.

Yeah, I don't really know what else I would do.. and hopefully I never have to know.

So I already broke my first New Years resolution... meh. oh well.
Also, I really want an iPhone.... so... i'm accepting donations :)


In about a week or so, I am heading down to Pine Springs Ranch! Not that PSR is really all that exciting by itself, but... I'm going there for Jr/Sr Bible Conference! Not only that,
I'M A FAMILY GROUP LEADER!

i hope my family group is cool and they don't try to kill me or anything... also i hope i get a good co-leader. This should prove to be a rather interesting experience... since i'm really a born follower, not so much a leader....
i hope they like me


anyways, nothing much is new on any other fronts, so i will... go away now.

Starting off the new year

So, what have I been doing all these past months that I haven't been updating?

A lot of stuff... but mainly.. hung out with Briana for thanksgiving, went to christmas banquet, went bowling right after christmas banquet still in banquet clothing...

and then there's Shock Fest. From December 26 to December 31, every afternoon from about 3:30 to 10:00pm i went over to the Riverside Community Church and "helped" at Shock Fest. What is Shock Fest you ask? It's like.. I dunno, but you can go here for more info ( http://shockfest.info/ )

For new year's eve, I hung out with Briana at her house and you know what I was doing during the 11:59pm - 12:00am transition? Talking to her about what movie we're going to see friday. haha
When we realized it was 2008 we freaked out and started yelling... and it was fun.
