So around 4:50pm, I'm getting ready to turn into reche canyon so i can go to my house, when I notice that everyone in that turning lane is making a u-turn (which is illegal there) and then i notice a police car/police man blocking off the entrance.

needless to say, I'm wondering what the hell is going on, so i turn around, pull over, and call my mom to tell her what's going on. then i make another u-turn and go to the stater brothers parking lot, park, and go to walk to the entrance of reche to talk to the popo man... and he's not there!


grr. so i just left my car in the lot and walk home (i hope my car is okay..)

Parkour

Isn't if funny how after you hear or learn about something it seems to pop everywhere in every day life?

Parkour for instance. Now, I had learned about this a while back in a CSI: NY episode where this guy and his friends are into it (but they didn't call it parkour) and he was murdered by his girlfriends.. brother? The brother attached some kind of electric.. thing... to the flagpole that the guy used to jump into her bedroom, and then as he was running out, he electrocuted him.

Anyways, I learned the name "parkour" from watching iJustine's videos on youtube (she had a "parkour spoof" video), and lo and behold, a few days later these two sophomores were looking up parkour videos on youtube at school, one giving the comment "I think it's spelled with a q or something". Then, I was just looking at someones myspace profile and in their about me it says
"I also plan on getting into parkour, or free running."
which I guess isn't so weird, but standing where I am it is.

so.. that's just my little rant about parkour.

So, I've started following this woman, Justine, and her life. She is a lifecaster (she wears a hat mounted webcam, connected to a sony vaio laptop on the Sprint PCS network so she's broadcasting live whenever) and.. its just interesting.

Other than that, the new iPod Touch is coming out September 28 (some apple stores have already been receiving them I've heard... this girl at my school already has one) and I seriously want it.. so bad. I'm getting it for Christmas... but I'm paying for part of it. I'm going to get the 16Gig but I'm just a little bit afraid that it won't hold all of my music.
Now, I admit, my 30Gig iPod is full of music I don't even listen to anymore... so hopefully it shouldn't be a big deal

Well that's all of the stuff I want to put on here... actually no, I want to rant about something for a sec.
This.. person.. at my school, who shall remain unnamed... is totally annoying the crap out of me. We used to be friends (at least I thought) but ever since the end of last school year they have been ignoring me. This school year, they won't talk to me, won't look at me.. won't really acknowledge me at all unless I say something to them first.. then when they do talk to me, its short answers.. and not in a nice tone either.
I was talking to them and one other person, and they had their eyes on the other person the entire time like she was the only one there. I just wanted to punch them so hard...

School! Glasses! and.. not much more.

So, school started on the 22nd, and its.. pretty good I guess. I'm retaking Algebra II (bleh) and some others.. I only have 3 "senior classes". Gov/Econ, Religion, English... other than that, they're all retakes.

Also, I have glasses now, but I don't have to wear them 24/7. Basically I have 20/20 combined, but my right eye is a little slower than my left. So when I'm driving at night.. or just whenever. But I'm planning on wearing them all day tomorrow at school just to break em in.

and... that's all!

Working Man

Well, I am working now...

I work at the University's Printing Services.. and all I do is file.

Its so boring... but recently (as of monday) we got two new girls.. and it turns out that I know them! They're my best friend's sisters, and its fun working with them.. and the extra help is welcome. All of the easier jobs that there were just a lot of regular easy filing were done today, so we had to do the harder filings (forms, invoices, etc)

but it's all good.


I'm leaving Friday for Seattle, gonna spend Sabbath with family up there, then leaving Sunday for a Cruise to Alaska! It's gonna be bomb (haha all the kids at REV said bomb).

Anyways, I make $8.76/hr, and i work monday-thursday from 8am-12am
and starting the 22nd, when I start school, I'm working mon-thur from whenever i get there (between 3:30 and 3:40 probably) to 5pm.

Trillian Astra

So I finally got my email telling me I was accepted as a Trillian Astra Alpha tester, which is really cool. Trillian Astra, of course, has bugs (it's just an alpha), but its really cool. I can't wait 'till they put in audio/visual (webcams and whatnot) and like.. direct connecting and whatnot.

Its gonna be great. Plus the whole widget thing.. and the web interface... yeah. anyways

our DSL has been giving us problems.. or atleast it was. it still kinda is, but.. not as much.... yup


and i just got The Movies (plus the stunts & effects expansion) which has no correlation to the recent upgrade of DSL whatsoever. =)


I've been attending Summer School at R.E.V for the past 2 weeks for the first semester of Algebra I and so far its been pretty good. I actually get along with my table people, so that probably is why.. plus i'm passing. But starting July 5, I start the second semester of Algebra II which will probably suck (not the same people, harder, etc)

*sigh* yeah...

Houston, we have DSL.

I'm so happy, today we got DSL!



I was about to goto sleep, i was in bed all ready, when a man came to our door and my mom answered it. Then a few minutes later, she walked into my room and said what it was, and i sprang out of bed to set it up (its soo fast)



Then my friend Briana calls me and asks if I want to hang out, so we go hang out at Barnes & Nobel, Jamba Juice, and Inland Center Mall... then we get home and i have to help my dad with the lawn, so i'm exhausted right now.

Get a Sidekick ID ($99 + 2 yr contract) and the Sidekick Data plan ($29.99/mo, includes unlimited web/txting(sms/aim/etc)/email) and reduce my verizon txting from 1000 to anyone, unlimited IN, to 50 to anyone with unlimited IN, and use my Sidekick ID for aim, txting, web, and email... and my verizon phone for just calls.

All i need is a job, which i'm getting, and hopefully my parents will let me do that.

Of course I would also get the black bumpers so my sidekick id looks cool.

I have wanted that car ever since I Robot (the one in I Robot is way cooler.. but unavailable. for now.) and I have even seen 3 around where I live. One baby blue, one silver, and one RED! When I saw it i was like, "omgwtfbbq! its my car!!1!"

Installed a new hard drive and I'm on my way to getting my computing life back on track

So, today was the last day of school. All throughout the day i was perfectly fine, because it didn't really feel like the last day (even though i kept telling myself it was) and suddenly, after I left, it hit me that I probably wasn't going to see "certain people" again (because I don't know if I'm going back), and it hit me on the freeway no less (the freeway is a terrible place to be hit with heartbreaking realities)

I'm a little happier now because I remembered that I would be seeing one of them on a somewhat regular basis... but yeah.


I'm really tired now though so I'm going to go take a nap

So, long time no type.

My computer hard drive at my house is dead, so I can't get on it... which really really sucks. My dad says he's going to get it fixed soon but i dont know.

My dad got me my camera yesterday (mainly because I told him I would need it for the photography unit in my world history class. which is true)
I didn't get the red one :'(
they told me I would have to order that online, and I didn't want to wait anymore so i got the navy blue one and it still rocks out loud

But I have to go now, I'm not sure I'm allowed to be on this at school

Casio Exilim EX-S770

So, I know what I want for my birthday ^^

I've wanted a digital camera for a long time now, and currently I'm using my sister's old Sony DSC-U40... but it really really sucks, and the battery life is absolutely crap. So I am begging my parents to let me get the Casio Exilim EX-S770.


Hopefully they let me get it.... :)

Pokemon Diamond FTW!

So, I got Pokemon Diamond, and it's a lot of fun. I'm currently working on getting my 7th badge, but unfortunately for some reason, the only fire pokemon in the entire game is Ponyta.

There are others, but they are only accessible after the elite four... and that is excruciatingly annoying. Because the 7th gym is an Ice gym... so more than one fire pokemon would be helpful. Well, whatever. I was going to try to find some on the GTS (global trading system) but i can't get WiFi at my house, and the nintendo usb wifi adapter thing i got doesn't want to work. so whatever.


So, I finally got my facebook, but I had to sign up as over 18, and without a highschool... then someone was like "why didn't you just sign up under RHS and when they add RAA you switch over?" so i was like "oh." and i tried that, but you can't delete your account, and you can't create a new one with the same email.

i guess that that's all i have to say...

I was bored today and decided to make a Facebook... but they don't have my school in their network. So i suggested it.... and now i'm waiting.

In other news, I'm going to try out Silkroad Online. Now all i have to do is wait for the 500MB client to download... *sigh* i tend to wait a lot.


Tomorrow our world religions class is going to Hsi Lai (the second largest buddhist temple in the u.s.)
and i'm going to buy lots of souvenirs. Like.. those prayer beads.. and little buddhas... or two... and its gonna be off the heezy. fo sheezy.

Fun times

Okay so, on friday our world religions class went on a field trip to a Muslim Mosque, a Hingu Mandir, and a Jewish Synagogue. It was pretty interesting... the Mandir was the weirdest, and the synagogue was the most... normal. Or atleast as close to normal as can be. We also stopped at Riverside plaza to eat... and all i got was a Juice It Up, so needless to say by the time we got home i was starving.


I was also exhausted, and i was falling asleep in the synagogue (my friend let me put my head on her shoulder). We got home from the synagogue really late (we were supposed to be out of there by 9pm, we were on the road at 10:20pm, so that kinda sucked.

This week, Ava Brittney and I are doing the weekend update for chapel... so that should be remotely fun.. lol, no, it should be fun.

Also, i saw this HiLARIOUS video on youtube that my friend sent me over myspace.. i'll try to get it up here, but no promises. its called Charlie: Candy Mountain.

Outage

So, a couple of days ago I came out of the closet. Got tired of hiding it, didn't care what people thought anymore, etc. so i posted a bulletin on myspace (haha) and yeah.

I didn't get much of a reaction though... i got like, one message from a person from school.... and that was it. Then i goto school the next day and noone really says anything. But today people are finally "reacting" to it. Someone asked their friend where "gay boy" was (meanwhile i was like, 5 feet away), that was hilarious...

Other people laugh with their friends when i walk by, but so far no open hostilities.

I was thinking of making that "I'm Coming Out" song as my myspace song, but i actually listened to it and didn't much care for it.

Yeah, tomorrow i'm getting a haircut (yay) and monday i have school off for whatever reason. but i should probably goto bed now...

School...

So school starts tomorrow... bleh. I guess i can't really complain... I didn't really do anything over spring break, except for ruin my sleep cycle... as you can plainly see at 4:33am. I was going to play Fable... but eh. I'm watching Brothers & Sisters right now.

So, life is currently confusing. Rumors flying around at school, groups of people laughing with their friends and you know they're talking about you. Its very awkward. Then these same people act like nothing is wrong when they are around you, and not with their friends. Its really annoying... but enough about that.


So today I stayed up because I couldn't sleep... and I'm going to head to Jamba Juice in the morning.. gonna get me a Cold Buster with an Energy Boost.

Yeah, maybe this staying up thing wasn't such a good idea after all. But I know that if I goto sleep now, i will never wake up on time to do what i want to do in the morning, and i also wanted to put a picture up, but i can't think of a reason to... so i'll try to do it tom... later today.



Oh wait, here's one. I was supposed to get together with this girl, Briana (the guy is me), over spring break.. but it never happened, which is very saddening considering she goes to school up north, and i don't get to see her much. But she's coming back down in May, so yay.

Well, i need to do stuff. I don't know what kind of stuff, but stuff none the less.
